Back Issues
Starting in May 2003, the entire issue was put online in PDF format just like the print version.
The only difference is that the back cover ad became page 2 and the inside back cover ad became page 4—out of fairness to these advertisers.
To read the magazine online with special online reading
software—where you can turn the pages online—click the month and
year. To read and/or download the magazine as a PDF, click on the
words "Read PDF"
Read Online or PDF?
"Read Online" is page-turning software hosted by another website
("Readoz") and is quick to go to and easy. All our past issues are
available on that site (go to Back Issues).
If you want to save
the pages to your computer, click on the scissors
icon on the bottom menu (at Readoz, and you must have pop-ups turned on)
and it will created a scissors tool. Move the tool to the top left
corner of the page and hold your left mouse button down and drag a box
to the bottom right corner of the page (you can do a two-page spread,
but it's more memory), then release the mouse button and a box
will appear asking you to SAVE TO DISK. Click that (it's better than
sending - the other option offered), wait a few seconds, and save it in your computer (it will save
as a JPEG). Save each page separately (or a two-page double spread in one wide
image).
PDFS
PDFs can be read as the whole
monthly issue PDF online or you can download the whole file to your computer,
which takes some memory if you don't have high-speed broadband access.
But you can also just read the PDF online without downloading it.
