| Why our ads are 3
months minimum: Our ads are some of the least expensive out there, and if we allowed a one-month run, we would have to charge a lot more for that first month, because that is when most of the work is done with them, plus no sooner does the magazine hit the streets and the deadline for the next issue is due 10-14 days later, so two months is almost mandatory, unless you sell your boat real fast. With 3 months it allows us to charge very little. Plus many boats take months to sell, the average frequently being six months, so we believe 3 months is reasonable. Some people are lucky and just sell their boat quickly. Some boats sell on our Web site (which gets a lot of business) before the printed ad comes out, others take many months. |

Add $10 to place the ad on this classifieds page early (generally within one day of receiving payment). Otherwise the ad will go up on the 1st of the month of publication. This a one-time charge to run the ad on the Web site and includes for the 3-month period. There is also no Web site charge if the ad is picked up after a 3-month run. RENEWALS AT $15 AND $30 WITH AUTOMATIC RENEWAL Sign up for automatic renewal to get the $30 (ads with photos) and $15 (text only ads) rate on renewals. Credit card on file required (or prepayment). Ad will be renewed automatically unless you cancel. No broker or dealer boats (see Broker Ad specials below). Otherwise, ad renewals after the first three months will be $50 (ads with photos) and $25 (text only ads) for another three months. Lower renewal rates do not apply if a month is skipped. Brokerage
Advertising in Classifieds Yacht brokers can advertise boats for sale at the same rates and change their ads monthly at the following rates: Brokers can run a 30 word text ad with horizontal photo for $20 a month. After the first month, they can change their ad to another boat for $20 or we will pick up the existing ad for $15. 3-month minimum to start. Brokers can continue this as long as they like. Brokers who are not regular display advertisers must have a credit card on account. There is no charge for small changes, like price.
